These fibers are is produced with a special polymer and dope-dyed; both features give the final product excellent light affinity values.

CORLEN FIBER ® TYPE 412 is a low modulus and medium tenacity fiber and CORLEN FIBER ® TYPE 432 is high modulus and high tenacity.

Its air shrinkage (190°C, 15 min) is considered low, since it ranges from 6 to 10%.

Due to its properties, these fibers are specially recommended for blends with cotton, wool, viscose, linen and acrylic. Its processability, blended or at 100% is excellent

Given the intrinsic characteristics of the product and the quality of the master batch chips, it exhibits excellent solidity to washing, friction, sweat, chlorine, light and sublimation.

In spinning pre-dyed yarn, these fibers allow having simple processes since yarn preparation is not needed.

In blending with other fibers like cotton, jaspe effects are obtained with no need of yarn dying, which reduces the costs substantially and simplifies the finish of fabrics, specially knitted fabrics for sport suits and T-shirts.

As dying is concerned, these fibers have great advantages with respect to batch dying, (as yarn or as tops). Unmatched reproducibility of tones is obtained, which allows for large productions of yarn with even chromatic characteristics. This makes it possible to weave great productions of fabric with the same color and at different times.

PRESENTATION

TOPS: This product is recommended for blends with wool or acrylic. Yarns obtained by wool type spinning processes have a magnificent behavior in weaving processes, specially wovens. Its main applications are outerwear, home furnishings, automobile tapestry.

STRAIGHT CUT STAPLE FIBER: This fiber is used 100% or in blends with viscose and acrylic to obtain melangé or mouliné effects, among others.
