It is a polyester fiber designed for the industry of non woven abrasives with very low shrinking that guarantees an excellent dimensional stability in the curing process.

Its properties makes it attractive since it is anti-allergic, odorless, mildew and moth resistant, it does not release neither dust nor other unpleasant materials.

The CORLEN® FIBER TYPE 813 has a hollow center of approximately 15% of the total cross section area. It is specially recommended to manufacture items that require a high degree of bulk, support, recovery and low weight.

By its characteristics it has excellent antistatic behavior, with adequate cohesion for the processes of carding and folding of veils.

Its harshness and superficial treatment allows for a very good bonding of the vinilyc-acrylic self-reactive emulsions with additions of glues and pigments, allowing working with abrasives such as quartz and pumice in important concentrations to obtain the desired level of harshness.

In the non woven sector it is used with very good results for the processing of high volume wadding. These are obtained through overlapping webs suitable to be chemically, mechanically or thermally bonded. It is blended with 6.6 dtex hollow to obtain higher support.
