This fiber has properties that facilitate fluids handling, is mainly used to make non wovens as intermediate layers for diapers and hygienic towels. Their structure allows creating the necessary space to separate the superficial layer in contact with the skin from the absorbent layer accelerating absorption, improving dispersion and reducing the amount of fluid that travels from the saturated layer to the skin.
