Committed to the Circular Economy, during the Andina-Pack 2019 trade show, Enka promoted its EKO® POLYOLEFINES produced from caps and labels. This product enables us to fully close the cycle of bottles, transforming them into very high quality products for the plastics market. We also launched our EKO® PET resin, a product designed for the production of containers and packages in contact with food and beverages; it is certified by Invima, the FDA and EFSA, and approved by major brands worldwide. With the new EKO®PET resin production plant used for packages in contact with food, Enka consolidates is global leadership in recycling PET bottles and doubles its existing capacity, recovering close to 6 million bottles a day, and creating great benefits for Colombia.
