This product enables us to fully close the cycle of bottles, transforming them into very high quality products for the plastics market. We also launched our EKO® PET resin, a product designed for the production of containers and packages in contact with food and beverages; it is certified by Invima, the FDA and EFSA, and approved by major brands worldwide. With the new EKO®PET resin production plant used for packages in contact with food, Enka consolidates is global leadership in recycling PET bottles and doubles its existing capacity, recovering close to 6 million bottles a day, and creating great benefits for Colombia.
