Enka presents the best semi-annual results in its history, with an ebitda of $37,052 million and a net profit of $29,227 million, favored by the situation of high international prices and the devaluation of the colombian peso and the recovery of the sales of Textile and Industrial Business and EKO(R)Fibers.
These positive results strengthen its financial position at the end of the second quarter, with a negative debt ratio of -0.3x ebitda.
The contruction of the new PET Bottle-to-Bottle recycling plant, which will double our installed capacity is progressing smoothly with investments off $21,200 million (19% of the total) and it is expected to start operations by the end of 2022.
